Thomas Simons[2][3] (born 9 April 2004), better known by his online alias TommyInnit, is an English YouTuber and Twitch streamer. He produces Minecraft-related videos and livestreams, including collaborations with fellow YouTubers and streamers in the Dream SMP,[4][5] which caused his YouTube and Twitch channels to increase in popularity.[6] As of 28 December 2021, his seven YouTube channels have collectively reached over 24 million subscribers and over 1.98 billion views;[7] his main Twitch channel has reached over 6.9 million followers,[8] making him the most-followed Minecraft channel on Twitch,[3] as well as the 13th most-followed overall.[9][10]

Simons was born in Nottingham, England,[11] on 9 April 2004.[12]
Career
YouTube
Simons created his first YouTube channel, Channelnutpig, on 15 February 2013[13] and his TommyInnit channel on 24 December 2015.[14] He uploaded his first video on his TommyInnit channel on 9 September 2018.[15] Simons typically uploads videos consisting of him playing Minecraft.
On 6 August 2019, Simons uploaded his first video relating to the Hypixel minigame (Minecraft game) SkyBlock.[16] While consistently uploading SkyBlock-related content, his TommyInnit channel rapidly increased its subscriber count from 4,800 to 66,000. On 4 July 2020, Simons joined the Dream SMP,[17][18] a roleplay-focused Minecraft server run by eponymous YouTuber Dream.[19]
In August 2020, Simons uploaded a video of himself and a group of fellow Minecraft YouTubers visiting Brighton. As of September 2021, the video has amassed over 31 million views.[20]
On 1 April 2021, Simons created a new YouTube channel under his own name,[21] uploading the first video onto it two months later.[22]
His finances and content is partially managed by his friend Rudy.
Twitch
Simons began streaming on Twitch in late 2018, where he streamed Minecraft, PUBG, and Fortnite.[23]
On 20 January 2021, Simons live streamed the finale of the Dream SMP, titled The Dream SMP Finale, which peaked at over 650,000 viewers, making it the third-highest all-time concurrent viewer livestream on Twitch, overtaking Ninja's Fortnite collaboration with Drake.[24][25][26]
Personal life
In September 2021, Simons announced that he would move to Brighton in 2022.[20]
